Charles Michael Shaw, 52, of Anderson, passed away on July 18, 2014 at AMG Speciality Hospital in Muncie. He was born on November 12, 1961 in Muncie, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Charles graduated from Muncie Central High School. He had worked for Pizza Hut in Anderson. He was of the Cherokee and Delaware Native American Heritage. He attended the Anderson Town Pow Wow every year.
He made medicine wheels, studied Native American Astrology, and birth charts. He enjoyed cooking, the outdoors, and reading. He loved to spend time with his family, and loved his dog, Willie.
Charles is survived by his loving spouse whom he married in 2001, Michele (Greene) Shaw, of Anderson; step-son, Bradley Simms of Anderson; mother in-law, Doris Greene; siblings, Mark Greene, Kim Greene, Eric , and wife Courtney Greene, Kristi McMillen, Chris Greene, all of Anderson; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; also, special friends, Melissa Kahn, Pam Misner, and PJ Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents; father in-law, Harry Greene, brother in-law Tim Greene, special uncle, Donald Williams, grandmother, Dessie Smith.
