Charles McKenna Lynch III, 76, of Greensburg, died, Friday, January 13, 2017 in Excela Health Latrobe Hospital. He was born in Pittsburgh on August 7, 1940, a son of the late Charles McKenna Lynch, Jr. and Isabelle Dom Lynch. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Cathedral. Charles was a graduate of Shadyside Academy and Vermont Academy and received a business degree from Georgetown University. In his lifetime, Charles was a stock broker with the former Moore, Leonard and Lynch. He had also worked for Bankers Insurance and once owned Wendon Oil of Greensburg and Greensburg Photo Supply. He was a Seton Hill University Emeritus Trustee. Charles was a member of Greensburg Country Club and, until his illness, was a longtime member of Laurel Valley Golf Club. He is survived by his wife, Vonda Williams Lynch; his daughters, Colleen Patricia Lynch, Sheilah McGarry Lynch and Megan Lynch Ellis and her husband Thomas; granddaughter, Madelyn Davies Ellis; stepchildren, Candace Nannette Ortuglio Campbell and her husband Thomas, Dina Arden Ortuglio Donini and her husband Samuel; step grandsons, Cole Campbell and Antonio Donini; sister, Lela “Lynn” Lynch Houston and her husband Robert Gary Houston; sister-in-law, Daryl Maloy and husband, Robert, who were always there Also, numerous nieces and nephews.
