Obituary
Charles M. Mounts, 76, of Muncy, formerly of Wellsboro, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Kramm Health and Rehabilitation, Watsontown where he has resided the past week. Born in Allegheny County on November 19, 1931, he was the son of the late Charles S. and Ruth (Mathias) Mounts.
A long-time Wellsboro area resident, he was a self-employed welder and mechanic. He also enjoyed masonry work and plastering, and has assisted with the repair of the church in Ansonia following a fire there years ago.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Richard W. and Connie Mounts, with whom he lived; three daughters: Jill Warriner, Muncy; Cindy Hand and her husband Ed of Magnolia, TX; Carol Adams and her husband Ron of Willis, TX; 9 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a sister, Betty Leech in Fort Myers, Fla.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Gertrude Bard and a brother Ronald Mounts.
There will be no services locally. Burial will be held at a later date near Pittsburgh.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brooks Funeral Home, 207 Broadway Street, Turbotville.
