Surviving are 2 sons; Jacob Long of West Mansfield, Austin Long of Mt. Victory, 2 sisters; Christina Long of Mt. Victory, Laurie (John) Wickersham of Kingsport, Tennessee, 2 brothers; Anthony “Tony” Long of Caldwell, Ohio, Melvin (Jane) Long Jr. of Mt. Victory and several nieces and nephews.
Charles was a 1989 Ridgemont High School graduate. He was a truck driver and a former Captain for the Mt. Victory Village Fire Department.
He was a member of the Kenton Eagles.
Charles enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, shooting at gun ranges, and had recently started gardening. He loved his family and his dog, “Street”.
