Charles Leon McDougle, 72, Kokomo, passed away at 4:46 p.m.
Born January 15, 1942 in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Ervin Leon and Viola Marie Smith McDougle. On November 30, 1963 in St. Albans, Vermont, he was married to the former Carol Lee Benjamin, and survives.
After graduating from Jefferson Township High School in 1960, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served his country for four years. He retired after thirty-eight years from Indiana Bell in Kokomo.
Survivors include his wife and two children, Craig S. McDougle, Kokomo, and Curt J. McDougle, Denver; two grandchildren, Cayla M. Walker, Kokomo; and Steven Lee Coffman, Florida; one sister, Sharon Proctor, San Jose, California; and one brother, Ronald McDougle, Hunterstown, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robert Steven McDougle.
