Charles Lee Pearson, 67, of Peru, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2020, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born September 9, 1952, in Osceola, AR to Coy O’Neal and Edith (Reed) Pearson.

He married Judith Ann Pearson on November 6, 2004, in Edgewood, IL. Charles had a passion for serving the Lord and was a member of the Spring Valley Apostolic Tabernacle. He also enjoyed leading worship. He enjoyed playing and singing music and was part of the southern gospel, Pearson Family Band. Charles was a true family man who adored his family. He loved fried chicken. He was an avid sports fan of all Chicago teams, especially the Chicago Cubs.

Survivors include his devoted wife, Judith; 12 children, Ward of Ladd, Frances (Jerry) of Spring Valley, Rod of Vernon, Gordon of Spring Valley, April of Peru, Dawn (Doug) of Charleston, SC, Jessica (Tony) of Ankeny, IA, Tasha (Ron) of Dexter, MO, Lisa (Ed) of LaSalle, Harry of Princeton, Irene of Spring Valley and Jacklyn (Kent) of Ramsey; 31 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; seven siblings, Bobby of Osceola, AR, Juanita (Alvin) of Mountain View, AR, Bill (Joyce) of Manito, Peggy of Phoenix, AZ, Larry (Barbara) of Manilla, AR, Roy (Margaret) of Batesville, AR and Perry (Donna) of Tennessee and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild; his parents; two sisters; three brothers and aunts and uncles.
