Charles “Charlie” Layton Skiles, 15, of Anderson, passed away on August 23, 2013. He was born on December 17, 1997 in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Charlie attended Pendleton Heights High School. Charlie was loved and adored by so many. He was truly our Angel on Earth and now, our Angel above taken too soon.
Charlie was our light, our smiles, our laughter, and our tender protector. He was a gentle soul with a heart of a hero. “People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy. Charlie is survived by his father, William Skiles, mother, Racquel David Skiles-Reeseman, siblings, Trevor Skiles, David Reeseman Jr and daughter, Kalli, Christian Reeseman, Alyson Reeseman, grandparents, Martin Skiles, Betty Bishop, Marcus Terri Brown, and Hurchel Reeseman, great-grandparents, Albert Skiles, Audrell Brown, Charles Jessie Ridgway, aunts and uncles Caleb Jess Skiles and son Michael Mayer-Skiles and Lucas Mayer-Adams, Nathaniel Dawn Skiles and sons, Zachary Malone and Nathan Gibson, Martin Christopher Skiles, Kristin Shane Richardson, Lacey Brown, Samantha Benjamin Brown-Houston and their son, Benjamin Marcus Clayton Houston “Bubby”.
