Obituary of Charles L. Ulrich
ULRICH, Charles L. (83) of Bay City, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2012. He was born on August 7, 1928. He married Bette Shaw on April 16, 1955. Charles began his career with Turrell and Benfield and was later a long time employee of Wickes Lumber. He loved living on the Saginaw Bay and fishing with his friends.
Surviving are his wife, Bette; their children: John (Louise) Ulrich and Shawna (Dave) Makielski; two grandchildren: Ian and Alex Wilkinson; a sister, Paula (Cal) Long; a brother-in-law, William Shaw Jr.; and a special family friend, Doug Lagalo. Also surviving are many cousins, nephews, nieces and wonderful friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Paul and Catherine Ulrich; a daughter, Kay Ulrich; and his in-laws: Helen and William Shaw.
