Charles “Charlie” L. Sigley, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 7, 2015. He was the companion of the late Priscilla Koons.
Born in Bethlehem, Charlie was the son of the late Charles P. and Mildred (Gougher) Sigley. He was a truck driver for IMS Waylight, and was the former owner of the original Sigley Sanitation. He enjoyed the outdoors, and was often found hunting at Promised Land or fishing near Illick’s Mill. Survivors: son Charles R. Sigley of Bethlehem; daughter Tyna Stemp of Tacoma, WA; sister Nancy Hawk of Bethlehem; brother Robert Sigley of Bethlehem; former daughter-in-law Candy Spairana of Bowmanstown; grandchildren Codi Sigley of Bowmanstown, Sarah Stemp, Jackie Posick, and RJ Stemp, all of Tacoma, WA; great-granddaughters Emily and Chelsea; and the Koons family. Charlie was predeceased by a son, James M. Sigley, and by his brother, Billy Sigley, and his half-brother Freddy Sigley.
