Details: Charles L. Gottleib, Sr., 90, a 50 year resident of Pasadena and formerly of Baltimore died on August 22, 2009 at his residence. He was born on January 23, 1919 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John and Mary A. Gottleib. Mr. Gottleib retired as a parts manager from Cummings Diesel in Baltimore in 1981 after 24 years. He was a member of St. Jane Catholic Church, the Glen Burnie Moose, and the United Auto Workers. His hobbies included watching baseball and fishing. Mr. Gottleib was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Thelma Gottleib and his brothers George, Frank, Edward, John, and Marcus Gottleib and his sister Margaret Roman and Frances Hood. He is survived by his sons Charles L. Gottleib, Jr. of Greensboro, MD, David A. Gotttleib of Pasadena, his daughters Victoria L. Hoover of Pasadena, Camilla Anne Manning of FL, his brothers Ellwood Gottleib of Baltimore, Vernon Gottleib of Baltimore, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
