A precious one from us has gone, a voice we loved is stilled;
A place is vacant in our home, which never can be filled.
God in his wisdom, has recalled the boon his love had given;
And though the body slumbers now, the soul is safe in heaven.
Born in Joplin, Missouri and later moving to Wichita, Kansas, Charles served as a demolition expert in the army during the Korean conflict. Upon returning he worked for many years for Cessna, Boeing and Learjet in Wichita.
