Charles J. Petro, 78, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 7, 2010, in the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s in Lower Saucon Twp., Pa. He was the husband of the late Rosemarie G. (Armatruda) Petro who died 2/18/04. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late Charles and Theresa (Hasonich) Petro. Charlie proudly served his country during WWII, in the US Marine Corps. He worked as a repair man for the Bethlehem Steel Corp. for many years until retiring. Survivors: daughter Cynthia A. Sabin and her husband Jan; son Charles J. Petro, Jr. all of Bethlehem; granddaughter Victoria; great-grandchildren Gage, David and Dylan. He was predeceased by his grandson David.
