Mattia, 90 of Hamden; brother of James and John Mattia, the late Madeline Palmieri, Ann Edberg, Julie Gamon and Fannie Tyler; also survived by several nieces and nephews; born Aug. 24, 1927, son of the late John and Teresa Mattia. He had worked as a pattern maker at Strouse Adler, retiring after 44 years. Chuck was very well liked and will be missed by all who knew him.
