Charles J. Eddy lost his battle with Alzheimer’s on November 26, 2016. Charles was born the only child to Charles Roy Eddy and Alberta Ann Lehman Eddy on November 5, 1929 in Ogden, Utah. After graduating Ogden High School and attending Weber State College, Chuck met and married the love of his life, Renee Bingham Eddy on June 23, 1951. Together they raised 5 children; Charles G. Eddy (Pamela), Renann Ealy (Dale), Tamie Irene Eddy, Blaine Lehman Eddy, and Troy Bingham Eddy (Tina).
Charles began work at Hill Air Force Base at age 18 where he worked for 33 years. During his life, Charles was involved with many community activities and groups and served as Mayor of Clearfield City, President of the Clearfield Junior Chamber of Commerce, President of the FAIR Corporation, President of APEX, and later as President of Citizens Advocate.
Charles is survived by his wife Renee, son Chuck, and daughter Renann, 17 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 1 daughter and 2 sons, Tamie Irene Eddy, Blaine Lehman Eddy and Troy Bingham Eddy.
