Mr. Charles Howard Bruce, age 63, of Newnan went home to be with the Lord on Thusday, May 20, 2021. Mr. Bruce was born in Pine Mountain, GA on January 8, 1958. Mr. Bruce worked in various fields of construction and spent over 20 years working for FM Stainless Fastners in Ellijay, GA. He was a man of God that put the Lord first in his life and faithfully served our country in the United States Navy. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering on cars, fishing, riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle, and most of all spending time with his family. He was also a very avid supporter of the Second Amendment. He is preceded in death by his parents, Morris Donald Bruce and Margaret Putnam Bruce along with his sister, Motis Harris. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sandra Bruce; children, Charles Powell, Betsy and Chris Allen, Sarah and Tim Jiles, and Robert Sanders; grandchildren, Breanna Allen, Brandon Sprouse, Nikolai Sprouse, Aleece Jiles, Wesley Jiles, Waylon Jiles, Garrett Sanders, and Griffin Sanders; great grandchildren, Everleigh Gesselman and Eryk Sprouse; a sister and brother-in-law, Susie and Tommy McElroy; and several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.
