Mr. Charles was born on June 12, 1938 and passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 He was a farmer, and a mill right and in his spare time he was a commercial fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors including hunting and fishing. In his prime he was an excellent marksman.
He is preceded in death by his, wife, Clariece Minton Dukes; companion, Alice Guice; parents, Marion and Maude Dukes; and sisters, Merle Raines and Pat Myers.
Survivors include his children, Charles “Buddy” Dukes and wife, Kathy of Forest, LA, Terrie Dukes and Rick Prine of Green Community, LA, and Jerry Dale Dukes of Forest, LA; 6-grandchildren, Brandi Millien, Brittany Michelle Dukes, Chasity Castilaw, Christoph Dukes, Chasity Stoffer, and Jacob Leburn; 3-step children, Doyle Guice, Jennifer Guice Bolyard, and Christine Wright; siblings, Tom Dukes, Eva Chop, Linda Bray, and Donna Adams; and numerous nieces and nephews.
