Charles Hoffman Reeder, Jr., born on June 11, 1947, lived a full and beautiful life that was drawn to a close on March 26, 2022. Born in Philadelphia, PA, “Chuck” was the first of two boys (Robert Reeder of Saylorsburg, PA) to Charles H Reeder and Ruth K Reeder (both deceased). Chuck is predeceased by his wife of 46 years, Sherry H Reeder. After her passing, Chuck found love and happiness a second time with his partner, Jayne Amodio.
A member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, he attended the University of Miami and graduated from the University of Tennessee.
A successful businessman, his work moved him around quite a bit, living in Tennessee, North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Connecticut, Texas, and eventually settling in Florida.
Chuck was a father to two children, Charles H. Reeder III “Trey” (married to Amber Ingram-Reeder) of Raleigh, NC, and Stacy Lynn Reeder Blanco (married to Anthony (“Tony”) Blanco) of Littleton, MA. He was a supportive and involved father, coaching teams or cheering the kids on from the stands. Chuck was a lifeguard in Barnegat Light, NJ, and he supported his kid’s lifeguarding careers. He was a very proud “Poppi” to Trey and Amber’s two kids, Graham (10) and Avery (7), and Stacy and Tony’s son, Adam (5).
