He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ethel Bennett; brothers, Julian Bennett, Bunyen Bennett, Ed Bennett, Johnny Bennett; sisters, Pearl Parker, Lois Bearden, Frances Goss, Jewel Masengill and Louise Queen. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Peggy Bennett of Dalton; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles Anthony Bennett of Dalton, Carl Nathan and Beth Bennett of Dalton; 6 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
