He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army, and worked as a superintendent in the construction industry.
Survivors include his son & daughter-in-law, Dennis & Debbie Phillips of Rocky Face, GA; daughters & sons-in-law, Rita & Bruce See of Dallas, GA, Terri Bond of Fayetteville, GA, Charlene & Kell Munroe of Fayetteville, GA, and Sharon Barber of Fayetteville, GA; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
