Charles (Chuck) H. Saunders III passed away peacefully on June 30, 2021. He was born on July 27, 1946 in Brockton, son of the late Charles and Gladys Saunders, and the brother of the late Cheryl Dowd. He resided with his wife of 31 years, Gail Saunders in Plymouth, MA. Chuck is survived by his wife Gail, his daughter Beth Bellando and her husband Dave, his stepdaughters and their husbands, Jennifer and Peter Monopoli, Toni and Adam Jones, Melissa and Doug Richards, and his grandchildren Cam, Makenzi, Paige, Peter, Sophia, Brayden and Keiran. Chuck was an electrician and a member of the IBEW Local 103. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War where he served with the SeaBees. He later became a commissioned officer as a Captain in the U.S. Army. He retired with 35 years of service. He was very proud of being an American. He saw the world with his wife. They enjoyed many adventures and traveled to every continent, including Antarctica. Cruising was their choice of travel with at least 32 cruises all over the globe. He loved to garden, was an avid reader, and his best days were spent with his wife. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
