Charles H. Lee of Flagstaff died on February 16, 2012. A native of Pennsylvania.

Charles was born on July 9, 1949. After graduating from Lock Haven University and working in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, for five years, he moved to Seligman where he worked as a teacher and coach. There he met his wife of 33 years, Ingrid, who survives him.

From Seligman, the Lees relocated to Kingman where Charles worked for American Woodmark. The couple moved to Flagstaff in 2004. Charles is also survived by his half- brothers William Lee, Stephen Reeder, and John Reeder; his half-sister Candy Lee; and his in-laws Kristie and Greg Bradner and Karin and Fred Cummings and their families. Lastly, he is survived by his dog, Amos, who was a cherished companion.

Charles was predeceased by his parents, William Lee and Iva Reeder. Charles was the original jack of all trades who worked at various times as a health and PE teacher, state championship-winning high school baseball and basketball coach, community college and university coach, trainer at American Woodmark, carpenter, and cowboy. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, camping and hiking in his younger years and fishing in Canada with friends in his later years. He traveled extensively with his wife and always looked forward to their next adventure.

Although Charles was a man of few words, he was straightforward and direct in everything he did. He’ll be remembered for his integrity, his sound values, and his numerous generous acts toward family, neighbors, and friends.
