Beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, Charles Glessie Horine, 68, of Spokane, Washington, passed away April 14, 2018 in Lewiston, Idaho. He was born July 20, 1949 in Nevada, Missouri; Charles was the son of Harold and Ada (Biggs) Horine.

Charles first moved to the Silver Valley from Missouri in 1960. Charles served in the Army in the 60’s before being honorably discharged and later went to work for Grady’s Body shop in Smelterville. In 2006, Charles moved to Spokane, Washington.

Charles had many hobbies including fishing, wood working, camping, collecting coins and collecting eagles. Charles was a creative man who created rings out of spoons and forks.

Charles is survived by his four sisters, Mary Horine Elston of Pinehurst, Yvonne Campbell of St. Luis, Missouri, Betty Labaya of Canyon Lake, Texas, Louise Bohannon of Livingston, Montana; one brother, Harold J. Horine Jr. of Butte, Montana; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Charles is preceded in death by his parents Harold and Ada Horine.
