Charles Gilbert Mick, 78, of Mount Clare, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013 at United Hospital Center. He was born March 8, 1935 in Clarksburg the son of the late Hugh and Inith (Scott) Mick. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary (Stemple) Mick. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind four daughters, Kathleen (Tim) Kirkpatrick of Harrisville, WV, Cynthia (Clarence) Ashmore of Mount Clare, Charlene Moore at home and Marlene Mick of Mount Clare; one son; David (Sharon) Mick of Mount Clare; twelve grandchildren; Michael Acres, Cindy Frazier, Sara Myers of West Virginia, Lisa Malone, Jennifer Saunders, Heather Perry, Jeremy Wilcox all of Florida, Jordanna Jaggie, Hannah Mick, Ryan Mick and Frederick Moore; twelve great grandchildren; Amanda, Corrine, Sheridan and Faith Sines of Ohio; Stephen Sutton, Kylee Sutton, Austin Owsley; Jalen and Kalle McGhee, Blake Malone, Ethan and Julia Perry, all of Florida. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son; Charles Fredrick Mick; two sisters; Mildred Greathouse and Elizabeth Swiger and one granddaughter Mary Mae Owsley. Charles had been employed at Anchor Hocking for thirty five years. He was a member of Family of God Free Will Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and football, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends.
