Charles G. Wood passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016. Age 76.
Charles was born in Galesburg, MI on February 19, 1940, the son of the late Roy and Eva (Ames) Wood.
He received his Associate’s Degree from Davenport University and then worked for RCT Inc. for many years. He was an avid farmer and was a member of 4H and FFA in his younger years. He enjoyed collecting and restoring John Deere tractors. He also enjoyed gardening and was a member of Jaycees. He was married to Judith (Jordan) Wood in 1961; she survives him.
He is also survived by his two daughters, Deborah Spencer of Kalamazoo and Kathleen (David) Jacobs of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Amanda (Cole) Nuyen, Laura Spencer, Emily Spencer and Eric & Ian Jacobs; one great-grandson, Landon Nuyen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
