The joyful illumination of light came on May 1, 1962 to Willie F. Wilson and Maudie B. Clisby in Sylacauga, AL when their first born son, Charles Graylin Wilson, arrived.
Charles confessed Christ at a young age at New Hope Baptist Church and later united with the Greater New Hope Baptist Church where he was a faithful servant until his death. He was a member of the Male Chorus, served as an usher, maintenance worker, and any and everything the church needed. He will forever be remembered as a man that dedicated his all to his church, family, friends, co-workers, and anyone with whom he had acquaintance.
He graduated from B.B. Comer High School. He was employed at Sylacauga Hospital, Moretti Harrah Marble Quarry, Dragon Hill Lodge in Seoul, Korea and in 2005 he joined the Defense Logistic Agency (DLA), Anniston, AL.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: the late George, Sr. and Earline U. Clisby and the late Frank and Callie Wilson; Daughter: Stormi Lane Wilson; Uncles: David Crumpler, Sr., Ralph Pope, John Townsend, William Looney, Sr., John T. Harrison, George Clisby, Jr., John E. Clisby, and Johnny Croom; and Aunt: Lucille Crumpler.
The precious memories of this priceless gift from GOD will live forever in the hearts of his loving and faithful wife and companion: Amelia L. Wilson; Parents: Willie F. (Betty) Wilson and Maudie C.
