Charles G. Sweetman, age 76 years, of Sagamore Beach, died Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Beth Israel – Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. He was the husband of Nancy (Nugent) Sweetman, and the son of the late Joseph and Phyllis (Shannon) Sweetman. Born on July 27, 1943 in Boston, he lived in Falmouth and in Norwell before making his home in Sagamore Beach in recent years. He was the owner and operator of Heritage Restoration, Inc., and a member of Local #3 Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen Union. Charlie enjoyed fishing and boating and loved to spend his winters in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea playing cards with his many friends. He was a communicant of St. Bonaventure’s Parish.Besides his loving wife Nancy, he will be missed by his children Scott Sweetman of Plymouth, Michelle Whyte and her husband William “Joe” Whyte of Plymouth, and Jennifer Long and her husband Steven of Gardner, his stepchildren, Michael McKay of Plymouth, Mark McKay and his wife Michelle of Plymouth, and Lauren Brady of Yarmouth, Maine, as well as his brother Steven Jutkiewicz and his partner Elisabeth of Sagamore Beach. He also leaves several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
