Charles “Charlie” Freeman was born on August 22, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York and passed from this life on February 2, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas. Charlie earns a Bachelors of Arts in Economics and a Juris Doctor from Brooklyn law School. He was a Senior Financial Advisor, Former Chairman, CEO & Co-Founder of Commercial Capital Corporation and former Regional Administrator for New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico & Virgin Islands for U.S. Small Business Administration. Charlie was a founding Director & Secretary of City University of New York Television Network Foundation. Charlie relocated to Duncanville, TX after many years in New York and was blessed to find Diane in Texas.
Charlie is survived by his daughters, Pamela Martinez and her husband Elvin Martinez and Jennifer Freeman; granddaughter, Adriana Martinez; fiancée, Diane Cheshier; Sister-in-law, Allison Freeman; niece, Sarah Freeman; nephew, Alexander Freeman; and pets, Nala (dog) and Bella (cat) Martinez and Poopsie (cat) Freeman. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Pearl Zucker and Abraham Freeman and his brother, Howard Freeman.
The family wishes to give special thanks to Diane Cheshier, Charlie’s loyal companion and fiancée who loved and support him until his final breaths.
