Charles Franklin Cuffman, Jr., 68 of Grafton passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, Clarksburg. He was born August 22, 1948 in Nashville, TN, son of the late Charles F. Cuffman, Sr. and Marie Collins Cuffman. Charles is survived by his wife of 15 wonderful years, Sharon Shumaker Cuffman, Grafton.
Charles was in the United States Army, serving two terms in Vietnam. He was a prison guard and was a Lieutenant on the sheriff’s Dept. for 23 years in Biloxi Miss. He loved to watch movies and going out to eat, old cars
He is survived by; one daughter, Tia Marie Brown and husband Jason, Al. two step children; Robert Whitmeyer and wife Lynette, Beverly Norris and husband Wesley both of Grafton, seven grandchildren; David Carder, Steven Carder, Dakota Norris, Cory Whitmeyer, Angelina Gaito, Marlena Gaito, and Lydia Gaito. One special niece and family Pamela Hildreth all of Grafton.and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents; Arthur Odell and Verna Lou Collins, whom he resided with .
