Mr. Charles Frank Jennings, 93 of Buena Vista, GA and a former resident of Fairfax passed away Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Magnolia Manor of Marion County in Buena Vista.
Survivors include his great-granddaughter, Heather Hall (Robert); great-grandson, Kyle Welch (Kassady); three great grandchildren, Ally, Ryleigh, and Skylar; daughter-in-law, Patricia Jennings and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death his parents, Edward and Donna Hodnett Jennings, wife, Phylis Estelle “Tinka” Bullard Jennings, son, Phillip Jennings, granddaughter, Tracey Jennings Polston; siblings, Evelyn Frazier, Vestula Edge, Clara Williams, Gladys Jackson, Ruth Blackmon, Eugene “Popeye” Jennings, Edward Jennings, Billie Jennings, and Curtis “Sambo” Jennings.
Mr. Jennings had retired from West Point Pepperell. He liked to write poetry, Alabama football, gardening and working the Sunday crossword puzzle.
