Charles F. ‘Kaz’ Wysocki, 87

Troy – Charles F. ‘Kaz’ Wysocki, 87, of Spring Avenue died Friday, January 09, 2009, at Northwoods at Troy.

Born in Cohoes, he was son of the late Stanislaus Wysocki and Johanna Kalinowska Wysocki and husband of Carolyn Walsh Wysocki. He had resided in the Cohoes and Troy areas all his life and attended Cohoes schools.

Mr. Wysocki was employed as a mechanic for many years with Operating Engineers Local 106.

He loved to fish and dance the polka and was an active Communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Troy, serving as usher for 25 years. He was in the Civilian Conservation Camps in Gallupville, NY and Utah. He was an Army veteran of World War II stationed in Italy, receiving the Purple Heart.

Survivors in addition to his wife include his two children, Sr. Anne Stephen CSJ, Binghamton and James (Rosemarie) Wysocki, Clifton Park and a grandson, Matthew Wysocki. He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph and John Wysocki and a sister, Stacia Hebert.
