Charles passed away Friday, July 31, 2015 at the age of 73. He was born May 19, 1942 in Kalamazoo to Leonard and Geraldine (Wright) Walters. Charles was a life member of both The Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge, where he would enjoy playing pool. He worked as a respected mechanic at Kendall Auto in Portage for 22 years.
Charles is survived by his children, Benjamin (Lisa) Walters, Elizabeth Hubbard and Elaine (Russell) Lewis; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Kenneth (Melba) Gest; sister, Christine (Ronnie) Poole; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father; and a sister, Cheryl Loudenslager.
