Charles F Vick, 68, of Freeport, died Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at FHN Memorial Hospital.
Born December 22, 1935 in Stephenson County he was the son of Ferdinand and Bertha (Hampton) Vick. He married Lois Boeger Hainke on September 22, 1962.He served in the US Army from 1961 thru 1963. An avid fisherman he was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose. He was a Stephenson County farmer and then worked for FS for 22 years until his retirement.
Surviving is his wife, Lois of Freeport; sisters, Betty (Paul) DiModica of Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Shirley (Drexel) McCollum of Rockford; stepson, David (Heidi) Hainke of Buckeye, Arizona, nephew, Charles DiModica of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; niece, Debra; 8 step grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and stepdaughter, Barbara Bons.
