Charles Elbert Spaulding, 82, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away on March 5, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Cañon City, Colorado in 1939.
Charles graduated from Centennial High School in Pueblo, Colorado, and later spent two years in the Navy Reserves. He loved telling stories of the family history and the outdoors, especially camping and fishing.
He met Guadalupe Troncoso while working as a clerk at the Derby Hill Market in Loveland, Colorado. She thought he was “hot stuff” and he asked her out. They went on to be married in 1971.
Charles is survived by his sons, Kenneth (Shelly) Spaulding and Loren Spaulding; daughter, Lori Brasuell; and grandson, Eric Brasuell.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Elbert (Ida) Spaulding; and his wife, Guadalupe Troncoso Spaulding.
