Okeechobee – Charles Edward Andrews died January 21, 2021. He was born September 26, 1934, in Miami, Florida to Gilchrist and Cleo Andrews. A resident of Okeechobee for 39 years, he was a member of First Baptist Church of Okeechobee and Kiwanis. He loved spending time with his family and being involved in his grandchildren’s activities. He also loved caring for his horses and livestock.
Mr. Andrews was preceded in death by his brother, Kenny Andrews.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Frieda Andrews, of Okeechobee; son, Dale Andrews (Linda), of Hallandale; daughter, Deborah Payne (Ronald), of Okeechobee; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Chuck Andrews (Darlyne), of Okeechobee; sister, Charlotte Steedley (Larry), of Wauchula.
