Charles Edward “Chuck, Butch, Bugle Boy” Wolfe, Jr., 69, of Hanover, was called to rest on August 28, 2017 after 4 ½ year battle with cancer. Charles was born on September 2, 1947 in Baltimore to Charles E. Wolfe, Sr. and Dorothy M. Clevenger Wolfe. He attended Baltimore City Public Schools and graduated from Lansdowne High School in 1965. Charles served in the US Navy from 1965 until his discharge in 1968. He was married on May 13, 1972 to Sharon Winter Murphey. Charles worked for Mrs. Ihries Potato Chip Company from 1971-1981. He attended DeVry Institute of Technology under the G.I. Bill to earn his Electronic Technician Certification. Charles went to work for Westinghouse in 1981 and retired from Northrop Grumman in 2014 as a shipping coordinator. He was a member of Glen Burnie Masonic Lodge #213, and the Boumi Temple Shriners.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon M. Wolfe; his mother, Dorothy M. Goodrich of Lansdowne; his siblings, Debora Drake and her husband, Larry of Charlotte, NC; Gilbert Goodrich, Jr. and his wife, Cathy of Linthicum; and Darlene Markov of Halethorpe; his nieces and nephews, Phillip and Krissy Hartman, Gil and Sara Goodrich; Jesse and Becki Markov, Lauren Goodrich, Eryn and Kris Cooke and Shawn Markov. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Gilbert S. Goodrich, Sr.
