Charles E. Starcher of Plymouth, MA formerly of Spencer, West Virginia, died peacefully on August 30th. Charles was born in Spencer, WV on November 16, 1941, son of the late Glen Starcher and Loretta Ellen (Davis) Mace. He was educated in Spencer and a graduate of Spencer High School, he entered the US Navy and served as a Hospital Corpsman Second Class. Charles worked as a Diagnostic Ultrasonographer at Ft. Hamilton Hughs Hospital in Hamilton, OH. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and was highly opinionated with politics. He is survived by his former wife Alexandra M. (Novak) Starcher of Middleboro, MA, his son Charles A. Starcher and his wife Julie of Woodstock, GA, his daughter Cassandra M. Hurder and her husband Fred of Cumberland, RI, his sisters Glenna (Starcher) Veith of Oakton, VA and Donna (Starcher) Webb of Lawton, OK. Charles was Grandfather to Shawn, Brian, Alex and Bobby. Charles was the grandson of the late Guy and Iva Davis and Everett and Icy Starcher of Spencer.
