Charles Elmer Shine, 84, of Valley Road, North Branford passed away March 13, 2011 in St. Raphael’s Hospital. He was the former husband of Jean Marie Brill Shine. Mr. Shine was born in West HavenOctober 4, 1926, son of the late James A. and Maria Weber Shine. He was employed by the CT. Dept. of Motor Vehicles. Prior to that, he worked on the Railroad. He is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth L. Pasqualucci of Ansonia and a sister, Mary Grottole of West Haven. He was predeceased by a daughter, Nancy Constance Colby and a brother, James H. Shine.
