Chuck passed away suddenly Monday, May 9, 2016 in Kalamazoo. He was born August 11, 1943 in Morgan County, Alabama, the son of J.P. and Abigail (Merriman) Puckett. Chuck was a longtime Kalamazoo area resident and operated Chuck’s Electrical Service and C & E Construction for over 40 years.
He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Portage. Chuck is survived by his wife Evelyn J. (Oudekerk) Puckett; his children, C. Nathan Puckett, Ariana (Matt) Dolan, Ryan E. Puckett, & Robin (Darin) Shorrs; his grandchildren, Henry Dolan, Austin & Aubree Puckett, Cheyenne & Colby Shorrs; his brothers, George Puckett, Jack Puckett, Bill Puckett, & Jeff Holt; and his sisters, Martha Hall, Linda Johnson & Mary Pressley, along with numerous nieces & nephews. Chuck was a great friend and touched many lives throughout his years of business in the community.
