Charles E. McGonigle, 86, of Anderson, passed away May 2, 2016 at his residence in Anderson after a brief illness. He was born on December 27, 1929 in Anderson, Indiana and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Charles graduated from Anderson High School, Class of 1948.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran who served during the Korean War.
He retired as bondsman and also sold real estate. He was an ordained minister.
He was a member of Alethia Fellowship & Ministry Center in Anderson, and also a past member of the Christian Center in Anderson.
Charles is survived by his son, Charles “Casey” McGonigle of Anderson; daughter, Cathleen McGonigle of Anderson; 5 Grandchildren, Mindy McGonigle-Shaffer, Melissa McGonigle-Heffelfinger, Audrey McGonigle-Fessler, Bryce Streaty, and John McGonigle; Brother-in-Law, Victor “Bud” Wolkober of Anderson; 10 Great-Grandchildren; Nieces and Nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Carson McGonigle; mother, Thelma (Eaton) McGonigle, Wife, Audrey McGonigle; daughter, Vickie McGonigle; Grandson, Connor Ireland; Great-Granddaughter, Kaitlyn Shaffer; and sister, Lora Jo Forman.
