Died Friday morning May 6, 2016. Charles was born December 12, 1934 in Comstock Park, Michigan a son of Edwin and Liane (Wert) Krueger. Years ago, he served Honorably with the U.S. Army. He had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of his life and was employed in the bakery business for 28 years before retiring. Charles was also a member of St. Monica Catholic Church.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, snowmobiling, golfing; and was the Michigan Golden Gloves Boxing Welterweight Division Champion in 1951 and 1953. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Marjorie Munn. On November 24, 1956, he was united in marriage to Sandra A. (Black) Krueger who survives. Also surviving, 2 sons, Charles E. Krueger, Jr. of Delton and Scott (Caroline) Krueger of Prior Lake, MN; 2 grandchildren, Allison and Kyle; a brother, Ronald Krueger of Grand Rapids; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
