Charles “Chuck” E. Foley
Charles (Chuck) E. Foley was born September 30, 1938 in Morris, MN to George and Eva Foley. He grew up in the Morris area and attended country school in District #59. He met Carrie Miller at the Corral Dance Hall in Chokio, they dated and eventually married on April 22, 1958. Shortly afterwards, they moved to Ravensdale, WA. There Chuck worked for B&B Manufacturing in Seattle for a short time. Their family doubled when Russell and Julie were born. They decided it was too rainy in Washington State so they moved back to Minnesota and settled in Dumont where Chuck worked on the Jimmy Gray/Lichtsinn farm. The family grew by one when Jeffery was born in Morris. Eventually they moved to the Twin Cities where Chuck worked for several years at K&K manufacturing. The family was complete when Johnny was born in St. Paul. Chuck took a job working for Danner Landscaping in Inver Grove Heights as a mechanic, doing landscaping and driving truck. He worked there for 32 years. In 1970 they bought a small farm in IGH and have lived there ever since.
