Charles E Ervin, 77 of Tunnelton, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at his daughter’s residence in Kingwood. He was born May 21, 1934 in West Lelena, AR, son of the late Earl Sr and Gertrude Roberts Ervin. Charles served in the US Marines. He worked for the Prince George County School Board in MD as a carpenter at retired. Charles is survived by his seven children, Karen M Cary, Silver Spring, Md, Robert “Dennis” Ervin and wife Mary, Beltsville, MD, Mary “Eileen” Plum and husband Lonnie, Kingwood, Charles A Ervin, Columbus, OH, Steven B Ervin and wife Janis, Tunnelton, Brenda K Adair, MD, Daniel A Ervin, Tunnelton; fourteen grandchildren, Robert, Kalishis, Lemont, Johnny, Tony, Joey, Jason, Amanda, Ernest, Lisa, Christopher, Holly, Lisa and LeeAnn; numerous great grandchildren; one brother, Earl Ervin Jr, TN; one sister, Vivian Calliec and husband Gerald, MS. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret G Hardy Ervin in January 1980, one grandson, Michael Plum, one brother, Robert Ervin.
