Charles E. Culp, 88 of Greensburg, passed away, March 1, 2021.  He was born January 28, 1933 in North Charleroi a son of the late Ethan A. and Charlotte (Shanks) Culp.

Charles retired from West Penn Power where he began his career with the line crew and retired as a plant accountant after 41 years and 2 months.  He was a faithful and active member of the First Christian Church, Greensburg.  In high school he played football and basketball.  He continued his love of sports following the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates.  He also enjoyed watching wrestling and basketball.  He loved to watch action movies a passion he shared with his family.  Charles was very active within the masonic organization as a member of the following:  Bushy Run Royal Arch Chapter #192, R.W. Grande Lodge F & AM, Charleroi and Monongahela F & AM #337, Washington Council No. 1 Royal and Select Master Masons and the Olivet Council No. 13 Royal and Select Master Masons.  He was also a veteran of the US Army serving as a member of the helicopter crew during the Korean conflict.

Charles was a loving and caring father and is survived by his two children, Deborah “Debbie” Culp and Kenneth “Ken” Culp, whom he would do anything for. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Connie M. (Archuleta) Culp, the love of his life, to whom he was devoted for 63 years and 3 months; his brother, Ethan “Bud” Culp and two sisters, Roberta Shepherd and Helen Olejniczek.
