Charles Edwin Amadeo Jr., 73, of Goshen, passed away Saturday, Feb. 1, at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born June 17, 1940, in Goshen to Charles E. Amadeo and Mary A. (Moriarty) Amadeo.

Survivors include his wife, Barbara J. Amadeo of Goshen; son Charles E. III (Meg) Amadeo of Syracuse; two daughters, Angel (Tracy) Jacobs of Goshen and Gina (Arturo) Macias of Ligonier; two brothers, Frank and Greg Amadeo, both of Des Moines, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Charles E. Amadeo IV of Syracuse, Hollie (Dereck) Willard of Indianapolis, Marissa (Kyle Rowe) Jacobs of Milford, Ty Jacobs of Goshen, Ryan Jacobs of Goshen, Teresa (Abel) Medina of New Paris and Arturo Macias, Andres Macias and Gianna Macias, all of Ligonier; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Leonard and James Amadeo, and a granddaughter, Alicia Amadeo Jacobs.

Charles was a graduate of Goshen High School and later served in the U.S. Army from December 1960 until December 1963. He spent several years working in the RV industry for various local manufacturers.
