Charles Dwaine Havard, age 85, of Mobile, AL, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017.
Born August 20, 1932, in Prichard, Alabama, he was the son of the late Charles Thelma Havard and Blanche Grossnickle Havard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Nellie Sue Havard; his children, Deborah (James) Phillips, Steven (Judy) Havard, Pamela (Tim) Nations, Randolph (Jennifer) Havard, Cynthia (Marvin) Schranz, Timothy (Angela) Havard, Hope Blase, 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren; his brother, Lawrence Havard; and sister, Blanche Trede, and many other family and friends.
Mr. Havard was a Korean War Veteran, loving husband, father, and grandfather, printer and pastor. He loved the Lord and pastored several churches and Mission of Hope. Though we are sad for our loss, we find peace and comfort in knowing he is with his Heavenly Father.
