Charles Douglas Overton, 77, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones on Monday evening, April 23, 2018 at Wake Medical Center. He was born in Wayne County the son of the late Eula Raynor Overton and Charlie Lloyd Overton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years Imogene Overton, a brother Kenneth Overton, sisters: Edna Stiffler, Christine Bland, Annette Gregory, Wilma Goodwin, Jean Bedford and Arlene Smith. Charlie was the baby of the family.
