Charles was born in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, on November 29, 1931. He joined the Army, 82nd Air Borne, followed by 17 years in the Air Force, EOD, retiring in Fort Walton Beach, FL.
Mr. Wilkinson was a 4th degree member of the Knight of Columbus, a Veteran of Foreign Wars and attended St.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Dolores Wilkinson of Fort Walton Beach; his son, Charles Wilkinson Jr and fiancée Dawn Rickard of Fort Walton Beach; his daughters, Laurie and Kevin Johnson of North Carolina and Julie and Tim Donaldson of Fort Walton Beach; grandchildren, Christine and Angela Black, Shawn and Kevin Cole, Heather McClure, Rachael and Charlie Wilkinson, and Marissa Johnson; great-grandchild Jadyn Cole; and beloved dog, Toby.
