Charles Dale Jones
Charles Dale Jones, 81, of Kingwood, went peacefully into the arms of His Savior on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, with his family by his side.
He was born on September 18, 1935 in Rowlesburg, WV to the late Clarence Woodrow Jones and Evelyn Mary (Friend) Jones.
He worked for Interstate Lumber Company, Daugherty Coal Company, and Interstate Hardwoods. He was an avid hunter and especially enjoyed his annual elk hunting trip to Colorado, where he got a nice bull elk. He loved gardening, woodworking, and spending time with his grandchildren. He loved reading his Bible, attending church, and telling others about his Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Phyllis Ann (Phillips) Jones, of Kingwood, a son, Jason Jones and wife, Amy of Kingwood, a daughter, Marsha (Jones) Seymour and husband, Todd of Williamsburg, VA; four granddaughters, Meredith (Seymour) Russell and husband, Benjamin of Sebring, FL, Sydney Jones and Madison Jones, both of Kingwood, and Rebekah Seymour of Williamsburg, VA; sister, Madene (Jones) Bolyard and husband, Francis, of Crooksville, OH, a sister-in-law, Patty (Shrout) Jones, of Kingwood, and one aunt, Ruby (Friend) Sanders of Lorain, OH and a sister in-law, Becky Phillips of San Angelo, TX.
Charles was also preceded in death by a brother, Wesley Jones, a sister, Wilma (Jones) Keenan, and husband, George and a brother in-law, Charles (Buddy) Phillips.
