Charles D. Toot, age 63, of Salem died at 8 a.m. Sunday, May 18, 2014 at his home following a battle with cancer. He was born May 25, 1950 in Salem the son of the late Clarence and Mabel (Godward) Toot. Charles worked various jobs in the area. Survivors included a daughter, Jaime (Andrew) Lake and a son, Charles R. Toot both of Salem: a half sister Janet Rector of Johnstown, Pennsylvania and 4 grandchildren. A half brother, Robert Toot, also preceded him in death.
