Charles D. (Danny) Wiles
Charles D. (Danny) Wiles, 78, of Rowlesburg died Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home with family by his side.
He was born February 14, 1937, in Tunnelton, a son of the late Goldie O. and Flossie McVicker Wiles.
Danny was a graduate of Rowlesburg High School; he was a helicopter mechanic in the US Army and went to airline school in Kansas City, MO; he worked for 22 years, as a heavy equiptment operator, for Salerno Brothers and was a superintendent, for the WV Department of Highways, on I-68. He was a lifetime member of the Odd Fellows and the Rowlesburg VFW Post 3008 and a member of the Eagles in Kingwood.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Maryellen Miner Wiles; three daughters, Deanna Felton and husband, Charles B. of Ambrose, GA; Michele Shay and husband, Tom of Rowlesburg and Cindy Felton and husband, Mark of Valdosta, GA; two brothers, Keith Wiles of Beach City, OH and Don Alan Wiles of Moneta, VA; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
